This is a 71 par golf course designed by U.S. Open champion Jerry Pate. It offers great views and doesn’t inhibit the natural wildlife. However, it is a private course. Although you can purchase a non-resident membership if you plan making Flagstaff your summer home.

This private course stretches for 7,200 yards. Despite the length, Flagstaff Ranch features four different tee boxes, allowing golfers of all abilities to manage the course with their golfing egos still intact. The rolling fairways are hemmed by tall stands of pine, meaning that if you have a habit of slicing or hooking you better wear orange so the other members of your golfing party can find you. Almost 50 bunkers add to the course's challenge. And the bent grass greens play quick, but true.

It is at 3605 South Flagstaff Ranch Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. To find Flagstaff Ranch follow Interstate 40 west. Take Exit 192, turn right on the aptly named Flagstaff Ranch Road and follow it into the course.
